Jayson Tatum’s topsy-turvy 2022 playoff run ended with the Warriors’ 103-90 Game 6 win over the Boston Celtics – but it wasn’t without one last record-setting performance.

“It’s hard,” Tatum said after the game, via NBA.com.

“It’s hard getting to this point. It’s even harder getting over it, the hump, and winning it. It’s been a long journey, a long process. That’s what I took from it: it’s tough. You got to take it up another level to do what we want to do.”

Tatum finished the game with 13 points, three rebounds, seven assists, and five turnovers.

It wasn’t all bad news for Tatum though; in fact, he joined Larry Bird and LeBron James as the only players in NBA history to have at least 600 points, 150 rebounds, and 125 assists in a single postseason.

The good news for Celtics fans is that Tatum is still just 24 years old, and has clear things to work on to take his game to the next level.
