West, who spent years panhandling on the streets after losing millions of dollars, is doing great on his recovery.
When word got around to Cuban that West was struggling, he personally went and picked West up at a gas station and vowed to help get West life back on track.
After so many former teammates had tried and failed, Cuban knew he had to step up personally to set it in motion.
West was never a star in the NBA but he was a good role player.
He played on some very good teams in his career and played with some big games.
West was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and ever since his last game in 2015 his life spiraled.
Although he only played one year in Dallas, Cuban felt like he could lend a hand.
Rehab is going very well for West who has been photographed horseback riding and kayaking.
Cuban says it’s a long road ahead but West has begun his journey and plans to stick with it.
