Paul George Promises Major Gains After Hearing His New 2K Rating

Paul George 2k rating

In an interview with Ronnie2K, Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George appeared to know that he underperformed in the Orlando bubble and promised that after “some amazing training,” he’s going to perform much better next season.

George was asked to guess his rating and he responded with prescient accuracy.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m a sub-90. I’m gonna’ go with an 88.” George said.

And he was right – Paul George is rated 88 overall, notably lower than he has been in recent iterations of the game.

But although George was self-aware about his noted diminished play last season, he promises next year he’ll be a much better player.

“I’m gonna’ predict I’m gonna’ be around 95… 95 tour is coming we’re gonna’ start there. With 2K22, I’m gonna’ start at like a 96,” George continued on to say.

NBA 2K21 developer Visual Concepts has begun to release the ratings of players ahead of the game’s release on next-gen consoles.

So far, the only other 88s revealed have been Donovan Mitchell, Trae Young, and Devin Booker.

George is in good company with those three players, considering all of them were all-stars last season.
