Danuel House Booted From NBA Bubble for Having Female COVID Testing Official in His Room

Danuel House of the Rockets

Houston Rockets forward Danuel House was kicked out of the bubble after violating bubble protocol for health and safety.

The league announced it’s decision Friday, on the eve of a crucial Game 5 for Houston.

According to the league’s findings, House had an unauthorized guest in his hotel room for multiple hours on Tuesday.

“Mr. House is leaving the NBA campus and will not participate with the Rockets team in additional games this season,” said the league in a statement.

Sources had previously said to ESPN that House denied any violations or broken protocols.

The league also said that no other player or staff member was found to be involved with this incident.

The Rockets sixth man had averaged 11.4 points and 5.8 rebounds in the nine playoff games he participated in at the NBA bubble hosted at Walt Disney World Resort.

He was a late scratch prior to Game 3, and he also missed Game 4 of their series against the Los Angeles Lakers.

With House gone, the Rockets are now under immense pressure down 3-1 in their series.

Head Coach Mike D’Antoni had referred to House, 27, as one of the league’s most underrated two-way players.

Game 5 will be on Saturday at 8 PM Eastern time.
