LeBron, Curry, Durant Make Top 10 of Forbes Highest-Paid Athletes List

LeBron and Curry

Forbes has released its list of the highest-paid athletes of 2020.

Lakers forward LeBron James, Warriors guard Stephen Curry, and Nets forward Kevin Durant all made the top 10 and were ranked #5, #6, and #7, respectively.

Of the three players, Curry had the highest salary, but LeBron made the most in endorsements by more than $15 million.

Neither LeBron nor Durant is in the top five highest-paid players in the NBA.

Curry is the highest-paid player in the league, followed by Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, John Wall, and James Harden.

The full Forbes list outlines the top 100 paid athletes.

At number one is Roger Federer, who made more than $106 million in 2020, including $100 million in endorsements alone.

The rest of the list included players from football, baseball, international soccer, tennis, car racing, golf, mixed martial arts, and boxing leagues.

NBA players dominate the list taking 34 of the 100 spots.

However, NFL players had a better year as a whole, with their season so far not being affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

So it’s safe to say that NBA players are making an incredible amount of money when compared to the highest-paid players in other leagues.
