Pacers Troll ESPN After Game 7 Win

Pacers

The Indiana Pacers pulled off an incredible feat when they beat the New York Knicks in Friday’s Game 7 showdown on the road.

Making the feat even more impressive was the Pacers shooting 67 percent from the field, which marked the best all-time shooting performance in a playoff game.

And now that Indiana has pulled off the series win, they are coming for those who didn’t believe in them. Well, whoever runs their social media accounts is at least.

Before the series began, ESPN polled 16 of their NBA experts — Kendra Andrews, Jerry Bembry, Tim Bontemps, Israel Gutierrez, Chris Herring, Tim Legler, Zach Lowe, Tim MacMahon, Bobby Marks, Dave McMenamin, Kevin Pelton, Jorge Sedano, Ramona Shelburne, André Snellings, Marc J. Spears and Ohm Youngmisuk — and all they all predicted New York would win the series.

After Game 7, the Pacers took to X (formerly Twitter) and smugly called out all the pundits who predicted they would lose.

Considering Indiana will be heavy underdogs against Boston in the Eastern Conference Finals, chances are that all the ESPN folks will pick against them again.

So don’t be surprised if we see some more trolling out of Indiana if they can somehow upset the Celtics.
