Doris Burke Tests Positive for Coronavirus, Now Symptom-Free

Doris Burke Coronavirus

NBA analyst Doris Burke has tested positive for coronavirus, according to ESPN.

But after an extended period of self-quarantine, Burke says she is now symptom-free.

“I’m so incredibly thankful to be feeling well,” Burke said on Friday’s episode of The Woj Pod.

Burke first noticed troubling coronavirus symptoms on March 11, the same day NBA Commissioner Adam Silver suspended play.

At first, Burke wasn’t sure whether or not she should pursue a coronavirus test; citing symptomatic inconsistencies and worry over a lack of available tests.

But after experiencing extreme fatigue for more than three days, Burke decided to be tested so that she could notify those who she had been in contact with to self-isolate.

The coronavirus has ravaged the NBA community, as well as the United States as a whole.

Kevin Durant, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, Marcus Smart are among the prominent NBA players to test positive so far.
