The latest free agency omen comes courtesy of DeMarcus Cousins, and suggests there could be trouble brewing in New Orleans.
Despite seeming to enjoy playing alongside his buddy Anthony Davis all season, Cousins unfollowed the Pelicans on Tuesday.
And it did not go unnoticed.

When Cousins was asked why he’d unfollowed his own team by an alert member of the public, he responded with “because I’m grown”.
Well, it’s pretty hard to argue with that logic.
One possibility is Cousins got word that the Pelicans were planning to offer him a deal below the max, as human typewriter Zach Lowe reported to be a possibility late last month.
But whatever Boogie’s thinking was, it can’t be good for the Pelicans.
